Chengwatana Township is located in Southern Pine County just East of Pine City. The township is comprised of about 6 square miles of property bordered by Pine County road 14 on the North, the Chengwatana State Forest to the East, the Snake River to the South and Cross Lake to the West.
The Chengwatana Community Center or Townhall is located at 27136 Forest Road and is available for rental. Please see Townhall Page for more information about rental.

Pine County manages property surrounding the Snake River and Cross Lake under the county shorelands ordinance. Pine County also manages the septic ordinance.
